Needs Big and Small

The fact is that we need regular monthly support. We are an organization that stays afloat thanks to individuals signing up to give a monthly donation. Some give $25-$50. Some give $100 to $200. Israel is one of the most expensive places in the world to live. Everything is on average 30% more than in the US with housing and cars being easily 100% more. Please consider partnering with us monthly to bring the gospel to Israelis.

After taking state-sponsored Hebrew classes 5 hours a day, five days a week, for five months it turns out we still need more! As you probably can imagine Hebrew is a very tough language and we would like to become very proficient in it. However good Hebrew courses are not cheap. We desperately desire to continue our language learning. 1 year of language learning at a good school costs $3700. We need this for two people.The total amount for this need is          $7400. 

The Lord has blessed us with many groups to train here in the land of Israel. One aspect of this is seeing and studying the land. We are praying for a new, fuel-efficient van to help take our students around without renting expensive rental vans. Unfortunately, taxes in Israel are 140% on new vehicles, yet for a short time, as new immigrants, we get a 75% reduction on this added tax. Please consider helping us with this immediate need.

The quote to ship our household belongings from the US to Israel is between $15-$20k. We won't know the final cost until it goes through customs here in Israel. We are currently paying monthly to store these goods. Would you consider helping pay for the shipment of our household goods?

The dream of a fully equipped Maker's Space is closer than ever. Now that we are settled in Israel, we are ready to lease or purchase a property to establish a more natural connection to our community. Leasing a space large enough would be about $2500 per month. This would also serve as our Bible study, training, and media center. Equipping the center will cost about $100,000 in tooling and equipment and enable us to interact with our local community in a way that adds meaningful value. The center will also provide a space to comfortably train our incoming students and groups, which can number in the 40s.

Our beloved dog is still in the United States. It has become quite a problem getting him here due to airlines not flying pets anymore (COVID)ugh. So we must pay service fees and plane fees and also personally escort him on the flight. All told, it will cost about $5k to bring him to Israel. He is in good hands with relatives, but our kids miss him dearly.

Buying property in Israel on a ministry budget is frankly impossible without God intervening. A small house in our area averages about $750k to 1.25 million dollars. To finance, one must have a minimum of 50% down. Our current rent is about $2000 per month plus utilities. A $400k donation would enable the ministry to establish permanent housing with a monthly mortgage payment equal to its current rental agreement. If it were not for knowing the God we serve, we would feel silly putting this item on our needs board, but it is a need and perhaps the most important. 

We are currently planning/writing a series of documentary films here in Israel that cover Biblical events where they happened, as well as evangelism material that answers common objections to the truth claims of Yeshua and the Bible. We are continually needing equipment, data storage, and gas for the car ($7-$8 per gallon). So if you would like to contribute we would greatly appreciate it!
